Rejoice. Rejoice? Rejoice!

“…and his name shall be called…The mighty God…” Isa. 9:6

blogbethlehem-1010828__340“But thou, Bethlehem…though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” Micah 5:2.

“…Joseph also went up…into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem…to be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child…while they were there…she delivered…her firstborn son…Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king…”(From Luke 2:4-6 & Matt. 2:1).

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ…which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.” (From John 1)

“Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.” John 8:58.

“For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power” Col. 2:9-10.

“I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Rev.22:13.

Because He is mighty God, the great I Am, He is able to save, strengthen and keep you, no matter your circumstances, to the end.

“Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him…” Heb. 7:25.

“Now to him that is of power to stablish(strengthen) you according to my Gospel…To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. (Rom. 16:25, 27).

“…I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”2Tim. 1:12.

“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 24,25.

Rejoice. Rejoice? Rejoice!

“…My heart rejoiceth in the LORD…I rejoice in thy salvation. There is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God…He will keep the feet of his saints…” 1Sam. 2:1,2,9.

“Glory ye in his holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.” 1Chron.16:10.

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Phil. 4:4

“But rejoice, insasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” 1Pet. 4:13.

“Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation…Wherein ye greatly rejoice…at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.” (Taken from 1Pet. 1:5-9).

Rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice!

When you think on the Lord Jesus, what sets your heart to singing? How does rejoicing in our trials change us?

Praying for the joy of the Lord’s salvation to be your strength.
