“Rejoice in the Lord…” Phil. 4:4. “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.” Ps. 69:30
“And Mary said, my soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.” Lu. 1:46,47.
“And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” Isa. 25:9.
They waited and He came. Rejoice for our salvation has come. Rejoice for as He has come, He will come.
Jesus said: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:1-3.
“And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1:10,11.
“He(Jesus) which testifieth these things saith, Surely, I come quickly.” Rev. 22:20.
“…and again I say, Rejoice.” “…rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Lu. 10:20b.
May you rejoice in Christ today and always, remembering your redemption draws near. May you and yours rejoice with the great joy in the Lord’s increase as you plant and water the seed of the gospel in your hearts and the hearts of others. Amen.
