Hope Lifts the Head

Faith delivers hope. Glad is the heart filled with hope. “Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.” Ps. 16:9. There is rest in the hope of eternal life in Christ Jesus. The heart filled with hope worships the King who reigns.

“ Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul…Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name… And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.” (Ps. 103:1; Ps. 107:22.)

“While I live will I praise the LORD; I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being… Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. My soul shall be satisfied…and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips” Ps. 63:3-5.

“Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help…The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect…There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength…His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.”( Ps 33:10, 16-17; Ps. 146:4.)

“Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God…The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance….Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; to deliver their soul from death…he is our help and our shield…our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.” Ps. 33:11-12,18-22.

“…the LORD his God…made heaven, and earth…keepeth truth for ever…executeth judgment for the oppressed…giveth food to the hungry…looseth the prisoners…openeth the eyes of the blind…raiseth them that are bowed down..loveth the righteous…preserveth the strangers…relieveth the fatherless and widow; but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.” Ps. 146:6-9.

The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations…Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory…For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods… And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.” (Ps. 24:10; Ps. 95:3;Rev. 19:6.)

“…Praise ye the LORD…Praise ye the LORD, Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints…Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” (Ps. 149:1; Ps. 150:6.)

Children of the kingdom, don’t lose hope for, “…there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars…distress of nations…Men’s hearts failing them for fear…the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:25-28.

Our Heavenly Father, may your message of hope sound as the trumpet across the earth, penetrating the hearts of your children and opening hearts blind to the truth. May all blessing, glory and honor be given to you. Amen.
