“Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice…”Prov. 8:1.
“She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city…Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled…” Prov. 9:3,5.
“Then Jesus said unto them…Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world…I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst… And he took the cup…saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins…And the Spirit and the bride say, come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely…it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment;” ( John 6:32-25; Matt. 26:27,28; Rev. 22:17;Hebrew 9:27).
Wisdom’s cry is going out today to those who are lost, facing eternal separation from the heavenly Father. Tears of sorrow flow as she sees the multitude refusing her and choosing folly, ignoring the truth. Death is certain for the lost, those still under the judgment and condemnation of their sin. Won’t you hear wisdom’s cry? Cling to truth.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me… Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved… All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” (John 14:6; Acts 4:12;John 6:37).
Jesus loves you with his life. There is nothing more to be done. Will you hear wisdom’s cry?
“Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.”Prov. 8;32-36.
Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ be, “ready to preach the gospel…not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation, to every one that believeth…” Rom. 1:15,16. Be wisdom’s voice.
Praying for wisdom’s cry to reach the lost wherever they are, bringing them to the life found in Christ Jesus. Praying for believers to boldly be wisdom’s voice, sharing the love of Christ with all the Lord gives us. Let’s pray one for another. Thank you, Father, for all your goodness toward us. We love you, because you first loved us. In the name of Jesus may your word go out in the power and conviction of the Holy Spirit, leading many to you and life, abundant life. Amen.
