Understanding Life and Death

“Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding; I have strength.” Prov. 8:14

blogprophet-312156__340“Blessed is the man that heareth me…

For whoso findeth me findeth life.”

“But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul;

all that hate me love death.” ( Prov. 8:34-36.)

If you gained nothing from this week’s posts, I pray the Lord Jesus opens your eyes and fills your heart with the light of understanding to the truth of today’s scriptures.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation: but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. “John 5:24,25.

 “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming,

         in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

           And shall come forth;

            they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;

               and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” John 5:28,29.

“As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.” Rom. 3:10-12.

            “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Rom. 3:23.

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned;” Rom. 5:12

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Rom. 6:23.

     “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:

           and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;

              but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:36.

                  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,

                        that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,

                                  but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.

“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened[made alive] together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way nailing it to his cross.” Col. 2:13,14.

   “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

              But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and                              whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in                the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Rev. 21:7,8.DSCF0360

“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life?

it is even a vapour,, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away…James 4:14

“Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth;

            and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the                                  flood, and in Egypt;

                                    and serve ye the LORD.

            And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve;

           whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood,

           or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell;

                      But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Josh. 24:14,15.

You have the knowledge of God’s will before you. Do you have the wisdom and spiritual understanding to choose life over death? These are the only options. To not choose, is death’s choice.

Praying all who read understands life and death are in the balance and chooses life through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
