Have You Seen God at Work?

“Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” Ecc. 11:1IMG_0709

Our weeks of camp and mission trip are past. We have seen a total of 5 young people confess their trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior. I did hear another camp in the area saw 16 young people professing their faith for the first time. Another church is to have camp at our site this week. Please keep praying. God gives the increase and when camps are over God is still at work. We are told in Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ;”

“Cast thy bread…And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst…John 6:35; In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory  as of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth…John 1:1,14;So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Rom. 10:17.IMG_0722

”…upon the waters…I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name…Isa.65:1; For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost…Luke 19:10; Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish…Matt. 18:14; But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matt. 9:36-38.

“…for thou shalt find it after many days…Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord…1Cor.15:58; And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen…Mark 16:20; He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:6.IMG_0724

Praying wherever and however the Lord leads you to share the good news of Jesus Christ, you are being a part of reaping the joy of the harvest!

How has God been showing Himself faithful to you through these summer months? I look forward to hearing from you and now that the physical labor of camps are over, I look forward to visiting your sites again and hearing the many wonderful things the Lord has been doing in your lives. God bless and keep on sowing!

  1. I am happy to hear about the young people confessing their trust in the Lord and Savior. Yes, when camps are over, God is still at work and we too, have to continue to share His magnificent word. Thanks for sharing.
