Praying the Lord’s Prayer for Christmas, Part 2

“Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.”

Psalm 150: 6last-supper-2610875__340

Praise God for His provision:

…Give us this day our daily bread…

“And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord…

his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

He hath shewed strength with his arm;

he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

He hath put down the mighty from their seats,

and exalted them of low degree.

He hath filled the hungry with good things;

and the rich he hath sent empty away.”

Luke 1:46, 50-53.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

Psalm 23:1

“Be careful for nothing;

 but in every thing by prayer and supplication

with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God…

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Phil. 4:6,19

Praise God our sins are forgiven.

…And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors…

“And she shall bring forth a son,

and thou shalt call his name JESUS:

for he shall save his people from their sins.”

Matt. 1:21

“Have mercy upon me, O God,

according to thy lovingkindness:

according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies

blot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity,

and cleanse me from my sin.”

Psalm 51:1-2

“And as they were eating,

Jesus took bread,

and blessed it, and brake it,

and gave it to the disciples,

 and said,

take eat; this is my body.

And he took the cup,

and gave thanks,

and gave it to them, saying,

Drink ye all of it;

For this is my blood of the new testament,

which is shed for many

for the remission of sins.”

Matt. 26: 26-28

“If we confess our sins,

he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,

and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

1John 1:9

“Therefore being justified by faith,

we have peace with God

through our Lord Jesus Christ…”

Romans 5:1

“And be ye kind one to another,

tenderhearted, forgiving one another,

even as God for Christ’s sake

hath forgiven  you.”

Eph. 4:32
