“Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.”
Psalm 150: 6
Praise God for guidance.
…And lead us not into temptation…
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David
a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you;
Ye shall find the babe
wrapped in swaddling clothes,
lying in a manger…
And it came to pass,
as the angels were gone away from them into heaven,
the shepherds said one to another,
Let us now go even unto Bethlehem,
and see this thing which is come to pass,
which the Lord hath made known unto us.
And they came with haste,
and found Mary, and Joseph,
and the babe lying in a manger…
And the shepherds returned,
glorifying and praising God for all the things
that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.”
From Luke 2
“The Lord is my shepherd…
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.”
Psalm 23:1a,3b
“I am the good shepherd,
and know my sheep, and am known of mine…
My sheep hear my voice,
and I know them,
and they follow me”
John 10:14,27
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,
he will guide you into all truth:
John 16:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:
but God is faithful,
who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;
but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,
that ye may be able to bear it.”
1Cor. 10:13
Praise God deliverance has come.
…but deliver us from evil…
“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel;
for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
And hath raised up an horn of salvation
for us in the house of his servant David…
That we should be saved from our enemies,
and from the hand of all that hate us;
To perform the mercy promised to our fathers,
and to remember his holy covenant:
The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
That he would grant unto us,
that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies
might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him,
all the days of our life.”
Luke 1:68-69, 71-75
Offer unto God thanksgiving;
and pay thy vows unto the most High:
And call upon me in the day of trouble:
I will deliver thee,
and thou shalt glorify me.”
Psalm 50: 14,15
“Giving thanks unto the Father,
which hath made us meet to be partakers
of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Who hath delivered us
from the power of darkness,
and hath translated us
into the kingdom of his dear Son;
In whom we have redemption through his blood,
even the forgiveness of sins…”
Col. 1:12-14
Praise God…
…For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory. Amen.”
“And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb,
and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name
JESUS.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest:
and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever;
and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
Luke 1:31-33
“Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty,
give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name;
worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”
Psalm 29:1-2
“And a voice came out of the throne, saying,
PRAISE OUR GOD, ALL YE HIS SERVANTS,
AND YE THAT FEAR HIM, BOTH SMALL AND GREAT.
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude,
and as the voice of many waters,
and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying,
Alleluia:
for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.”
Rev. 19:5,6
“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45.
Let’s celebrate this Christmas season and each day after we are given as children of the King.
Merry Christmas!
Our God Reigns!
My final post in this series will be the three sections put in one post; no pictures just the scriptures. May you read and pray them as one and be blessed. Thank you for stopping by.
This was a clever application of the Lord’s prayer. My hat goes off to you. Isn’t God good?
