Prayer and Praise for His Precious Gift

His Plea:

Consider the One who pleas for all to –

“Come now, and let us reason together,

saith the LORD:

though your sins be as scarlet,

they shall be as white as snow;

though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool …

I, even I, am

he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake,

and will not remember thy sins …

Come unto me,

all ye that labour and are heavy laden,

and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;

for I am meek and lowly in heart:

and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”

Isaiah 1:18; 43:25; Matthew 11:28-29

Our Provision:

The plea has gone out from the Lord God and God the Son, Jesus Christ. He is our provision. The invitation is available to all who will receive it.

By Christ –

  • “we have redemption through his blood,
  • the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace …
  • by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place,
  • having obtained eternal redemption for us.” Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 9:12

Christ bought forgiveness with his blood for all. It’s available to all. But all do not receive it. To those who do, we have –

His Promise:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,

and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,

thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For the scripture saith,

WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek; for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD

SHALL BE SAVED.”

Romans 10:9-13

If you have not yet received God’s promise agree with God and know the peace of being forgiven and cleansed.

Our Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins,

You are –

faithful and just to forgive us our sins,

and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness…

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness:

according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies

blot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity,

and cleanse me from my sin.”

1John 1:8,9; Psalm 51:1-2

Now it’s time to give –

Him Praise:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings

in heavenly places in Christ …

To the praise of the glory of his grace,

wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved …

with the precious blood of Christ,

as of a lamb without blemish and without spot …

O give thanks unto the LORD,

for he is good:

for his mercy endureth for ever.

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so,

whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy …

Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness,

and for his wonderful works to the children of men …

In God is my salvation and my glory:

the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.”

Ephesians 1:3,6; 1Peter 1:19;Psalm 107:1,2,8; Psalm 62:7

We the redeemed by the blood of Christ heard the Father’s plea, received his provision in Jesus Christ through faith, and rest in his promises. May we rejoice together in praise of his precious gift and pray for those yet to receive it. Have a blessed weekend.
